A Big Country: Aussie pearls industry rebounds

After a tough few years things are starting to look up for the Australian pearling industry in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. A mystery disease wiped out huge numbers of wild pearl shell at the Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm, north of Broome, a few years ago forcing the company to produce some of their own shell in a purpose-built hatchery.
