Cygnet Bay Pearls are Australia’s oldest pearl farmers, culturing our pearls at Australia’s longest working pearl farm.
Established in 1946 by founder Dean Brown, Cygnet Bay Pearls have been a part of Australia’s cultured Pearling industry from the industry’s inception.
Today under the stewardship of third generation pearl farmer and marine biologist, James Brown, Cygnet Bay pearls is one of only three remaining active pearl farms on the WA coast, and has diversified to also be the only commercial pearl farm open to the public. Visitors can gain an insight into the cultured pearling process, explore the wild and ancient Kimberley Coast, and for a truly unique experience, purchase a pearl right where it’s grown. Discover more about the place, the people, the pearls.
2016 marked our 70th year. To celebrate we opened our new flagship pearl jewellery boutique on the Broome pearl strip, Dampier Terrace, to show case our new range of classic and unique Cygnet Bay Pearl jewellery pieces.
